POPIA §§23-25 · Data-subject rights
Access or erase your information
If a hotel has filed a report about you on the LaterLarry network, you have the right under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act to see what we hold and — if the report is unfounded — to ask that it be removed.
Submit your request
Every request is logged. We respond within 30 days as required by POPIA. Provide at least one identifier so we can look you up in our encrypted database.
What happens next
- Access: If your details match a report on file, we email a POPIA §23 summary including your right-of-reply appeal links.
- Erasure: We create a moderation ticket. Our team reviews the underlying evidence and either removes the report or explains — in writing — why we cannot.
- We never confirm or deny publicly whether you are on file. If you receive no email within 30 days, you can escalate to the Information Regulator.
- Read our full Privacy & POPIA Notice.
